What this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit zeitrafferei.ch or write to me. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

The website is a photography portfolio. It has no user accounts, no shop, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Visiting the website

The website is delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver it and keep it secure, Cloudflare processes technical data of each request, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser details. The website runs on Cloudflare Pages. I do not switch on request logs or web analytics of my own; Cloudflare keeps the technical data according to its own privacy policy.

Contact form

The contact form does not send anything itself. When you press send, it opens your own email program with your name, the topic you chose and your message filled in. Nothing is transmitted to this website. You decide whether to send the email, and it then reaches my mailbox at Google Workspace (Google) like any other email.

I use these details only to answer your enquiry and, where you ask for it, to prepare a commission.

I keep your enquiry in my mailbox for as long as I need it to answer you, and at most two years after our last contact. If the enquiry leads to a commission, I keep the related correspondence for the periods required by law.

Writing by email

If you write to me directly, your email and the details in it are stored in my mailbox at Google Workspace and used to answer you.

Cookies and storage in your browser

This website sets no cookies of its own. One small technical entry remembers your place in the work overview for the current tab. The cookie information lists it in full.

External content

Fonts and images are served from this website itself. No external scripts, fonts, videos or maps are loaded. The link to Instagram is an ordinary link: Instagram receives data only if you follow it, and its own privacy policy then applies.

Who receives data, and where

• Cloudflare, Inc., USA: delivery of the website. Cloudflare states that it stores data mainly in the USA and the European Economic Area, and that it is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the Federal Council has recognised adequate protection.
• Google: mailbox. Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Ireland, is the contracting partner for Google Workspace. Data can also be processed by Google LLC in the USA and other countries. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; in addition, Google's data processing terms include the EU standard contractual clauses.

I do not sell personal data and do not pass it on for advertising.

No automated decisions

No decisions are made automatically and no profiles are created.

Your rights

You can ask for information about your data, and have it corrected or deleted, or released to you where the law provides for this. You can object to its processing. Write to [email protected].
